Ilka Torres
Hello, it's nice to have you here!
I'm the baker behind the Bakehouse. From baking, to decorating, to marketing, I designed and created my business from scratch.
I started baking more as a hobby for friends and family a few years ago, while being a stay-at-home wife and mom. I've always loved and enjoyed baking for my family. Some of my fondest memories are in the kitchen with my mother watching her make delicious Dominican cakes. She has inspired me over the years to continue bringing cozy smiles through carefully handmade cookies and baked goods.
Since then, my hobby has turned into a growing business. I'm very passionate about creating baked goods that not only please the eye but comforts the soul.
I'm grateful to God for blessing me with a creative ability to serve others!
